NHS Scholarship Program
NASSP, the parent organization of the National Honor Society, has awarded NHS Scholarships since 1946, providing more than $10 million in scholarship funds to outstanding NHS members. The program awards $250,000 annually.
Currently affiliated, active NHS chapters may participate in the NHS Scholarship Program and nominate students for scholarships. Nominees must be senior (12th grade) NHS member students in good standing, generally meaning they continue to meet their chapter's standards and obligations.
The deadlines for applications for the 2014 NHS Scholarship Program have passed and the online application process is now closed. The program will reopen on October 1, 2014 for the 2014-15 school year.
Winners and their advisers and principals will be notified in May and scholarship checks will be mailed this summer. A full list of winners will be posted on the NHS website in June.
